The Lutron Palladiom Keypad
This offering is part of the Lutron Homeworks range and is an elegant architectural style keypad that enables control of lights, blinds, drapes, and HVAC all from a single location.
The Lutron palladiom comes in various button configurations from 2 to 4 button in a single vertical column. It is also available in a dual column. This means 2 vertical rows side by side.
Like many of Lutron’s wall keypads the palladiom is available with custom engraving. When we design your system we will speak to you about this to ensure the engraving is intuitive to the user and provides a simple reference to the keypads various functions.
The buttons on the palladiom are made from the same material as the wall plate giving the keypad a consistent finish. The Lutron palladiom also features a neat back lighting option which illuminates the engraved wording. The brightness of the back lighting is adjustable too so as to keep the colour tones of the light constant with the room. Not only is this very useful in low light conditions from a practical perspective but it looks awesome too.
We also like the big buttons on the Lutron palladiom. They are easy to use and are simplistic in their design. When designing systems the button design and functionality is critical to the user experience . The last thing you want is a computer keyboard stuck on your wall! This will be confusing and drive you and particularly any house guests mad.
The Lutron palladiom also comes in a glass finish option. Glass keypads offer a more discreet finish and blend in with the wall if the objective is to have a minimalistic finish as opposed to show casing the keypad.
